I was just in Alaska (and Canada) on a family trip and took plenty of touristy snapshots, but when my eye goes to the viewfinder, I’m really looking at things that most people don’t even notice. These pictures are my view of the trip, the Alaska that I saw, the other Alaska.

On February 9th, it was my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary. My mom wrote a beautiful love letter to my dad and asked me if I could do “something special” with the letter so she could surprise him with it. Wow, that was a tall order!
